Programs

Students can be in Lake Dallas ISD, Denton ISD or home schooled.  LDISD and DISD students see your counselors for applications and home school students contact the Chamber office.  Applications are released in the fall, collected in January and awards given at our annual banquet.

Adopt-A-Teacher is a Chamber sponsored program that helps new teachers with supplies for their classroom.  Donations are made by Lake Cities Chamber members and community members and the teachers submit a “Wish List” of items they would like for their classroom.  They are presented baskets of these items at a breakfast in September.  The teachers are always thrilled and appreciative of their baskets.

Two graduating seniors, who live in the Lake Cities, receive a $500 scholarship each year, from the Lake Cities Chamber of Commerce.

Association Based Health Insurance

The Lake Cities Chamber is a member of the North Texas Chamber Co-op which allows our members to be eligible for an Association Health Insurance plan.  This gives our small business members large group pricing and product options.
